School Council

You can engage in your child’s learning at home and school in many ways. The school council provides advice on school matters and helps to strengthen the important relationship between schools, families and their communities. The council includes family members, school staff and community members.

Please contact our school office for more information on School Council minutes.

Membership

Membership in the School Council is open to parents, guardians and interested community members. It is completely voluntary, and a very important part of what we do. All are invited to attend, but only voting members are allowed to vote on items put forward for consideration. We welcome all voices; we want your perspective on how we can make Glad Park the best possible community of learners.

All positions are pending election on September 25, at our first meeting. Following the vote, our membership will be recorded here. In order to be considered for membership on the School Council, you or someone else must submit a nomination form to the school by September 14.
